Derek Pyle, director of Waywords and Meansigns, has launched a podcast radio show called “Unassimilated Sounds”. With the slogan “taking listeners out of their usual zone, from Bach to 2pac”, Derek’s show features a unique array of music as well as interviews. Episode one features an interview with British fringe musician Neil Campbell. Episode two will surely be of interest to Joyceans, as Derek spoke with Seán Mac Erlaine about composing music for Alas Awake — the Finnegans Wake music performance that debuted in May with six sold out shows at the International Literature Festival in Dublin.
