Don Ward

Don Ward is a reader. He’s been called other things– dad, executive, professor, “Hey, Sailor!” Most seriously, he reads Sunny Jim Joyce and Flannery O’Connor. Thinking more about perdition in his dotage, these days, he reads Dante too in search of loopholes. In February 2020, he started a Ulysses reading circle for six first-time readers of the novel. Then Covid. The seated reading circle became a website. The website enticed a few other first-time and habitual readers. The website now reaches readers in over 60 countries. Don lives with a rescue dog. Whether Dixie is rescued or rescuer is the subject of debate.

Don Ward contributed to the Opendoor Edition of Waywords and Meansigns, in January 2022, recording Book I chapter 4, page 93 line 22 through page 94 line 22.
